Between June of 2010 and March of 2011, PokerKings is running MTT Leaderboards with lots of money to be won.

Every month an MTT leaderboard will be maintained at PokerKings with the top 50 players at the end of each month receiving a share of €1,000 in cash prizes awarded every month.

Every time you play in a real money cash poker tournament you earn points, which automatically places you on the leaderboard. And if you're already a player at PokerKings, you may already be higher on the current PokerKings board than you think.

If points earn in a given tournament apply toward the MTT Leaderboards, they will be noted in the PokerKings lobby with the initials "MTT LB". You can observe the current rankings on al the leaderboards live at any time at the PokerKings site.

The top 10 players at the end of every month will face-off in a 90-player MTT Leaderboard Final tournament, set to take place in April of 2011 and promising a €15,000 prize pool that includes a €10,000 prize package into the 2011 WSOP main event.

In each PokerKings Monthly Leaderboard, the prize money is distributed as follows:

• 1st place gets 20% of the prize pool (€200),
• 2nd place gets 15% of the pool (€150)
• 3rd place gets 11% of the pool (€110)
• and so on for the remainder of the top 50 players

The way a player's points for the PokerKings MTT Leaderboard are determined are based on the buy-in that's paid, the number of players playing, and in what position each player finishes.

In the 90-player final tournament, which is scheduled to take place at PokerKings in April of 2011, the breakdown of the prizes is as follows:

• 1st place gets a €10,000 WSOP prize package,
• 2nd place gets €1,500,
• 3rd place gets €1,000,
• and so on.
